On a visit to the Claydon Deanery on Wednesday 13 July, the Rt Revd Dr Steven Croft, Bishop of Oxford, visited the Winslow Benefice.

Attending the leavers' service at St James' Gt Horwood, the Bishop handed out wristbands and shields, awarding pupils for their commitment to the school's core values, such as love and kindness.

In the service, the Revd Mark reflected on the words "I am the vine", bringing along Brian the Vine Plant, who the children met a year ago in an earlier service.

Afterwards, Bishop Steven visited the St Laurence Food Cupboard, meeting Jo, Jan and Sue, who were packing up some food parcels. The Bishop heard all about the history of the Cupboard and the amazing work it continues to do today.
