The Winslow Parish News, or WPN, is the monthly newsletter for Winslow and the Benefice, keeping the community up to date with local news, events and a comprehensive list of local businesses.

We only take advertising from locally based advertisers i.e. Winslow and surrounding villages out to Buckingham and Whitchurch. (Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard are out of area for us).

 The WPN goes back to the days of Canon Beamish in the 1940s, when it was decided that we needed a Parish News which was jointly Church and community.

 Each month features engaging content from a selection of over 80 local groups and organisations. If your local group would like to add content or be contacted each month on our reminder email, please do let Katy Slade, the WPN editor, know on [email protected].

 We have approximately 100 advertisements at present in WPN, providing a valuable service for local businesses to share their work across the community at an affordable and highly competitive price.

 We have 35 volunteer distributors, who hand deliver the monthly magazines to subscribers, plus one in reserve to cover holidays.

 Our dedicated committee of six put the magazine together each month, arrange distribution and organise the finances.

 Winslow Parish News is 64 wonderful pages of local events, information and local adverts, with local history and great articles, including a quiz, recipe, health and wellbeing, and a new monthly pet article.

 Annual subscription including delivery is only £9.00 per year, or you can purchase monthly for £1 from the Co-op, Londis, the garage, the deli, the butchers and The Bell - and of course from St Laurence Church.
