For parents, godparents, friends and family and the church.
You don’t have to be baptised yourself, and you don’t have to be a regular churchgoer.
What happens?
During a christening, your child will be baptised with water to start their incredible journey of faith. It’s a special day for them and all your friends and family.
Baptism services are normally held on a Sunday at a date we agree with you.
Where will the baptism service be held?
If you live in Winslow, Great Horwood or Addington we will normally hold the service there.
If you live elsewhere we will need to discuss your individual situation but we will try to make it happen in one of our churches.
Getting ready for baptism
We like to get to know you a little before the baptism. Usually we have at least one meeting to explain what is involved, what the symbols used represent and what the meaning of the responses you will give mean to you.
We would love you to join us at our services.
I want to find out more
